(I’ve only gotten one other starred review in my career so far, from VOYA, for BORN WICKED.) I know reviews shouldn’t matter too much, but the fact is that sometimes they do, especially for historical fiction, where we hope to get school and library sales. Seeing our hard work recognized in these reviews–especially the star from Booklist!–means a lot to me. It’s truly been a highlight of my publishing career so far. I am so, so proud of this anthology!
